    Default Recruiting Shutdown - May 6-12, 2019

In compliance with NCAA regulations, the GU coaching staff

Can have no contact with players, parents or coaches
Can have no unofficial/official visits, evaluations or camps
Can have no email, texts or written correspondence

    Until May 13, 2019.

Likely no news on the recruiting front for at least the next week.

Ha ha, yeah quit living in the past ZagDad!

I don't understand the point of a 1 week dead period. What does that actually accomplish?

Its intended to provide the student athletes a period of time to think about what school they want to attend without constant interruption from interested coaches/staff.

For those that enjoy digging down into the details, here is a link to a source that provides more information on recruiting schedules than anyone should care to know,..... unless you work in the Athletic Compliance Office of any College/University. Note that the recruiting schedule for Women's basketball is different than the schedule for Men's Basketball, and.... other sports are unique to themselves.

I have heard that if you work fast enough, time moves backwards.

I just thought maybe the Zag fans might want another crack at BYU in the WCC tournament championship game.

When you get to my age, the fingers move faster than the brain.

Hey I got it half right, the day for conversations to resume. That is better than I did on a calculus test or three.
