    Default Bread pudding. (Old code)

Hey foosters I need your advice.
Iím honestly thinking of kicking my GUB habit.
I ended my FB and Instagram last year and stayed off, for the better
Like FB and IG, itís the negativity and falseness of it.
Try reading through a game thread, so negative. Not just today but also during 30 point wins.
False fans (trolls) come out to revel in the misery.
After losses, as few as there are, itís toxic.
The posters, so many with low basketball IQ, so many with just low IQ in general.
    Iím serious. Any advice?

I hope you step away for a bit and reconsider taking a permanent vacation. I have always enjoyed your input and positive attitude.

If it stops being fun, don't do it. That's why I gave my retirement notice a year earlier than I thought I would. . .

I’ve done the same with my social media and been happier for it. I’ve really limited my MBB intake this season - mainly I go to CDC’s recent posts to see what he has to say.

Too many posters have ruined it for me also 23. I stick around for the Whelping box for recruiting news. Caldwellzag makes me feel great. For the most part I’ve stayed away from the main board, and haven’t been in many game threads the past 3 years. It’s been disheartening most times, but again TWB keeps me coming back. I’d stick around for that and the Foo

That’s why I left and rarely come back. It’s not the same as it was 10 years ago.

I spend 95% of my time in the Foo so I can stay grounded!

Social circles are healthy for everyone, and I think you should stay. Mostly these other keyboard warriors need to step back and realize how small all of this is, how GU hoops can be fun but otherwise is just not all that important. Expectation check, all that.

I gave up up Facebook last year (too many personal and political screeds) and maintain a fastidiously curated Instagram feed that delivers only good content. GUB rounds out my social media, and for that I'm happy. You folks seem like old friends, and a few of you are personal friends. This is a great community, warts and all. Take some time to consider your decision. I hope you hang in there.

I don't do FB or any other social medias. Waste of time.

The MBB is definitely not the same and not as much fun to read.
The little I read there, well, I can't remember what I've read.
Too much back and forth about nothing.

I try to come to the FOO as often as I am able to....
Like Phish said above, it is like a great inner-circle Zags's community.

Tough loss tonight, but, there is always next year....

I really wish a few of the MBB posters would decide to become fans of some other team.

I think MBB has transitioned from an online community to an online platform, like many other platforms on the internet. I actually enjoy the MBB in the off-season more than during the season.
