The classic case was Rui driving towards the hoop for a wide open jam where he just lost control of his footing. There were at least two in deep post touches that GU fumbled the ball away, and then that disastrous situation where Jones made a great steal and had a 2 on 1 break but needed to understand that he's not Josh Perkins. Clarke was not far enough ahead to make a pass. Should've held on to the ball until Perks or Snacks got there.

The Zags need to do a better job on Mooney in the 2nd half, who just keeps impressing me more & more with each passing round. He reminds me so much of a Zag.

The team is doing as good of a job as can be expected on Culver. He's going to hit shots. Just don't let him go nuts.

Very much like FSU, we need to get Clarke going a little more, and set up some plays for Tillie for his patented corner three.

The stupid announcers keep saying its TT's pace, but Gonzaga is very comfortable playing in the low to mid 70's, which is were this contest is headed. If it were 27-25, I would be concerned if I were GU.

One of these teams is going to go on a mini-run in the 2nd half that could very well determine the outcome. Let's hope it is GU.

20 minutes until Minneapolis and the final four. Let's bring Geno home!!!!!!!
    Thanks for a great summary.

Yeah brother. Hope all is well. I have caught most of the games this year but just haven't been able to check in to games on the Boards like I have I wanted.

I said to a couple of basketball heads before today that Tex Tech will be the strongest opponent Zags will face in the tournament. Luckily I think the teams have been progressively preparing the Zags for this point in Baylor and FSU.

Zags are due for a good spurt and don't think TT can replicate that simply as not their style. Turn it into a points battle.

Cut the turnovers. Stop letting them make 3s. Come on.

Iím here at the Honda Center. Lots of zag fans . But lots of Tech fans too, more than I anticipated. Whoever can make a good run will feel like they have a crowd advantage. Thatís my take from the nosebleeds at least. Go zags!! So nervous!!

We'll see if GU can overcome the first half jitters and take better care of the rock. The wise guys in Vegas predicted a four point spread. . .I wouldn't expect GU to win this thing by double digits.

    GO ZAGS !!

yeah baby, I like the Zags D so far in the matchup. We'll see if TT goes for their own o glass or not; Zags were crushing them and breaking. if TT stays back, Zags won't be able to run but will dominate their D glass, will be more of a grinder if like that imo

but Zags have open shots all over the place. points battle works here!

Good game so far. Texas Tech has been a 2nd half team all year so we will see if that continues.

Yeah, we have a 2 point lead despite numerous turnovers that took points right off the board for us, AND, TT was shooting the 3 at a spectacular pace.

I don't know that Texas can continue at that pace.

Zags have more turnovers than Pepperidge Farms. . .

Culver hits his FTs, sees the ball go in the basket. . .prepare for him to to torch us

Quit with sloppy plays and bad decisions..that simple. Clarke needs to stop forcing it and just make 8 footers. He’s really good on those.
