Will PJ Washington play for UK or not......the ever growing mystery. I am surprised by the amount of people who feel UK is going to easily get by the Cougars and face UNC in the E8. UK was barely able to get by Wofford, and it took the worst or all long distance shooting afternoons from Wofford's best player to beat them. Even if PJ plays, I can't see him being close to 100%. Would be surprised if the Heels don't emerge from this region.

Ok, an exciting evening of basketball on tap. I think UNC v Auburn is bound to be the most entertaining game.

My prediction of the night, V Tech over Duke!!

Fab 5 by a mile!! You have to put it in context. The fab 5 was playing and beating a ton of experienced teams with full of future top NBA pros who were juniors and seniors in college at the time. One and domes didn’t exist yet.

Ask me again in 7-10 years and I might have a different answer.

Last night, I picked 3 of 4 correctly, just missing on Tennessee game. I didnt think Purdue stood a chance. Not really an accomplishment since all were favorites save Texas Tech. I knew they would blast Mich. Tech has blown everyone out, by double digits since February 4th. They lost to WVU yet best them by 30 a month earlier. They beat Baylor by 25, Kansas by 30, etc. Really sound team, very well coached.

Tonight's winners are Duke, UNC, Houston, LSU. Really a coin toss b/w LSU & MSU. I picked Mich St in my bracket but feels like LSU could step up big tonight, they have the horses down low to compete on the glass.

Ps-- although, I had a dream after the FDU game the Zags beat Kentucky in the Finals. I don't think Kentucky will get that far

Mods, will you please merge these threads. I went looking for this one before I started the other and failed to find it, even though it existed.

    Auburn might just clip UNC.

    What a game.

Hmm. I thought Auburn looked awfully good last game and thought they would be a tough matchup for UNC. It was dismissed by some here as just a matter of KU sucks.

Banking 3s to go up 19 means it is your night.

My goodness Auburn! They just can't miss anything at this point. UNC is in serious trouble.

And then, Auburn loses the best player on the floor - 20 points, 11 rebounds - to a knee injury with 8 minutes left.

surprised he walked out as well as he did for how much that leg looked to bend at the knee.
