I do agree with other posters this seems like the wvu team we beat to eventually go to title game. I can see that as well but we must be ready for 40 minutes of physical play.
Sure would be nice to see zn have a hot game.

Love the zags for life
I don't need the metrics to know that these are two great teams that match up well. Hopefully revenge will be a motivating factor for the Zags.
You have to love the Gonzaga fan. Not satisfied to be affronted merely by common hosings at the hands of ragtag referees, he plows all avenues of discontent. - John Blanchette
Gonzaga University...Home of the Zags...The Bulldogs. If you pronounce it "Gone Zaw Ga," they'll know you're not from here and they may charge you more for your coffee. - Garrison Keillor
You worry too much. Last year the Zags lost Tillie right before the FSU game and with no time to adjust, didn't have a plan to stretch the Seminoles D. I think people on here really don't understand not just how much losing Tillie hurt, but also how much of an effect not having any time to practice and adjust to not having him in there had on the S16 game vs FSU last year. It was a giant blow to the Zags.
Brandon Clarke's Numbers Shouldn't Be Possible
Clarke blew away all other scorers with 36 points on 15-of-18 shooting (well, and dunking) and also stuffed the Bears offense with 5 blocks. The stat line is impressive on its own, but it wasnt a one-off. It continues the trend of ultra-efficient dominance that Clarke has set this season. In his 35 games, Clarke has more blocked shots (107) than missed field goals (105).
This incredible feat appears to be almost unprecedented for a player who scores as much as Clarke does (17.0 points per game). According to Sports-References college basketball season finder, the only player ever to have a higher field goal percentage than Clarke with as many blocks is the 7-foot-6 former UC Irvine center Mamadou Ndiaye, who managed it during his 2013-14 freshman season. Ndiaye went 111-for-157 from the field that year, while Clarke this year has gone 244-for-349. Ndiaye had a fine college career, but Clarke is a very different player. For one thing, hes 6-foot-8. For another, he dunks like a vintage Shawn Marion.
I went to a game at the Bren center just to see Mamadou play....they lost to Long Beach State. Monson
Can't wait to see Clarke at the Honda Center. Look forward to gasps from crowd as he rejects FSU shots! In January, in a game at rival Long Beach State, coach Dan Monson told reporters that he believed his team was still afraid to attack the paint even when N'Diaye was sitting on the bench. In early February, N'Diaye broke the school's single-game block record for the second time in the season, totaling with 11 blocked shots and 10 rebounds against Long Beach State.
Here's some perspective. Nationally,
FSU is #31 in average score margin. The Zags are #1.
FSU is #81 in points per game. The Zags are #1.
FSU is #123 in FGM/game. The Zags are #1.
FSU is #130 in Shooting Efficiency. The Zags are #1.
FSU is #133 in Second half PTS. The Zags are #1.
FSU is #144 in Two Point %. The Zags are #1.
FSU is #156 in Shooting %. The Zags are #1.
FSU is #172 in Effective FG%. The Zags are #1.
FSU is #210 in assist/TO margin. The Zags are #1.

All that comparison shows is the relative strength of the WCC and the ACC....if you think Gonzaga could produce those stats in the ACC you are delusional ...
Breathing is good....if is also good to have 4 teams in the Sweet Sixteen....I have no idea how good Gonzaga is because they haven't played anyone worth a damn since North Carolina.....on the other hand, I know Florida State is good...perhaps the second best team in the ACC behind North Carolina.....
I picked Gonzaga to win and I am hoping that they do.....but.... we shall see if they are a pretender or a contender tomorrow... when all the dick wagging will end and the game will be played...
