Even after last night's win, Baylor is still ranked at #78 in adjusted defensive efficiency. Whatever defense they are in, that number is simply not good. And neither was their 19-13 record going into the dance. Kind of surprised they got a 9 seed. Granted, they had some injuries.

Gonzaga really has no business losing this game. Baylor is not going to sting them with 16 threes (or whatever it was), although Baylor does run some good offense. Few and Co. have had really good success against Scott Drew and the Bears in recent years.

Anything can happen, but Gonzaga would really, really have to screw this one up to not be in Anaheim next week. I certainly would not expect the kind of blow out we witnessed in round one. Not close to it.

I said this is another thread, but Few is getting better and better at these pressers in the NCAA tournament. I still feel the 2017 presser before the Xavier elite 8 game is one of the greatest in the tournament's history when Mark talked about his dad and how he cannot possibly live up to his pa's legacy as a Presbyterian minister. It really summed up better than anything why Mark continues to stay at GU.

It's part of the deal with the NCAA tournament. The Zags ability to outrun and wear down teams gets nullified a little.
