    Default Start Crandall

We have seen this before. Can't let either Fairleigh Dickinson guard get hot or it will be a long night. They are almost their entire scoring offense. So put Perkins on one and Crandall, the other. Sorry, maybe Norvell shouldn't start this one. What do you think?

I would still keep Zack in the starting line-up, and start Geno.

I don't expect it to happen. He is a great weapon off the bench, and I don't think they would want to change the chemistry now.

While their guards may get hot fromm three, unless they hiot 25+, the Zags inside game will eat them up.

    They start 3 forwards, one 6'8" 34% from 3, one 6'8" 42% from 3 and 1 6'7" 52% from 3 but doesn't shoot many.

Which Zags are you asking to guard these 3 starter?

Crandall should get 30+ minutes but we need ZN to get his shot back.

While I appreciate the sentiment around locking down, the whole point of the change of pace guard is for him to come in and change the pace.

Kenpom #2 vs. #207....while no #1 seed should ever overlook a #16 again, I think we will be fine.

We could REALLY confuse them and start Petrusev and JJ, bringing Rui and Brandon off the bench. Maybe start Beach instead of Perkins, he's a 44% 3 pt shooter and Lang at 50% from 3 instead of Zach!

The only thing I am worried about is foul pressure on Clarke. Quick guards can do that.

I expect Jones to get some play early. In other words, resolve this by rotating forwards to distribute foul pressure evenly.

Or maybe Zach gets hot & it'll be a long night for FDU.

    Hair color is right too!

All this talk about starting Geno over (?)...I am just guessing that Coach Few, who has the second highest winning percentage of all time, just might have an idea on how to game plan for this team...GU will be prepared...

I remember SCU having a guy named Foster who could make 3's from the locker room and GU was still able to prevail...

Last year's Virginia game was an aberration; there is no reason to think it will happen twice in a row. I'm more worried about Syracuse, they have played a much tougher conference schedule.

as every pundit has said, including Bilas most recently, "Syracuse is a tough match-up for ANY of the 1 seeds".

No joke. There style is frustrating, unique, and hard to replicate and adjust to.

That said, Baylor has a shot. They haven't been playing well the last 3 wks, yet they went through a really "hot streak" in Big 12 play, as their 1-3-1 is an effective zone, and they offensively rebound nearly as well as UNC does.

Its going to be a good game, yet 'Cuse just has more weapons and better guard play as of late.
