Added Belmont and Fairleigh Dickinson on to the schedule. Some analysts feel Maryland is over-seeded. If Belmont can be a little smarter with the basketball than they were throughout portions of the second half vs. Temple, they might spring an upset.

The one thing I remember about Fairleigh Dickinson is that they once played UConn in the NCAA's when the Huskies were a dominant men's team under Calhoun. It was 1998. They had a superstar, 6-1 guard by the name of Elijah Allen who put 43 on the Huskies. It's still one of the greatest tournament performances I have ever witnessed because this kid had NO help around him. The only chance they had was for him to go crazy from the field. They almost pulled off the upset because no UConn defender could stop him, and they had multiple pros on that squad. I will never forget some radio host on Sporting News Radio (RIP) had to apologize after the game because he nicknamed Fairleigh Dickinson "Fairly Ridiculous." Here's a news story on the game:

Any idea why ESPN is not televising any games at all?

It's a bummer as that is the only way I can watch!

Boy would I love to see Wofford beat Seton Hall (who beat Kentucky this season) and then take down Kentucky. The media would treat it as being far greater of an upset than it actually is. I don't know what SH's and KY's metrics are when it comes to defending the three line. That is Wofford's bread & butter. They are one of the best long range shooting teams in recent history.

I wonder how long Montana can hang with Michigan? That team is so well coached. The game could be closer than some folks think.

LSU is playing Yale without their head coach due to the FBI mess. Yale can play some ball.

Lots of folks picking NMSU over Auburn in the classic 12/5 upset. Once again, how you do in your final 10 games or your conference tourney has proven to have no influence on your ability to excel in the dance.

Michigan State, in typical Izzo fashion, played a road game at Bradley a few years ago.

Minnesota (Pitino's son) vs. Louisville (his old man's ex-employer).....another one for those people who are convinced that the committee tries to create "storyline" games.

Wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Murray State beats Marquette who some analysts feel is the most over-seeded team in the field. Another 12/5 game.

Glad I took Thursday off from work several weeks ago.

I have Murray St beating Marquette. I'm taking Wofford too. I still like LSU. I really like them, even without their coach. I never wanted to play Auburn. They can really get up and down the court and shoot threes.

Syracuse just suspended one of their seniors for a "violation" of some kind. I guess increased chance of getting Baylor Round 2.

Yep, and the Ted Turner / CBS conglomerate and the NCAA just extended the deal to 2032 at a $BILLION$ per season or there abouts. It will be a long time before ESPN broadcast any Big Dance games.

My daughter has her choral performance this evening right on top of the game. I am going to have to turn all things electronic off until I can finish watching the recording later tonight.
