Zagceo, yes you missed it, "In fact, Lloyd was in Mexico City last week to check on a player. For the record, Few didn’t banish him after the Saint Mary’s loss."

Don’t read the comments unless you’re ready for a Zag beat down.

Ballo goes to school there, so he was either there to see him, or a teammate.

Boy, what a great writer. I clicked on some of his other stories and they are all very interesting.

Author (Jerry Brewer) used to live in washington and write for the Seattle Times. I thought he looked familiar.

Great article, thanks for the link.

Pretty much standard treatment of the Zags, though I don't get that vibe in Texas. I think it goes to our reputation of playing anyone, anywhere.

I've got an ad blocker, so I can't read them anyway.

Haven't the Zags played to seed, or better, better than any other team for the last century? At least that's what it seems like. Losers and posers still want to dis the Zags.
Hoping you have a sense of humor too!

I took the time to sign up, but after several attempts, all I got was:

    Section 116,
Thank you for the link! Jerry Brewer is an excellent writer. I used to read his Seattle Times articles.

    TexasZagFan,
I added a comment to the Washington Post article (I am a subscriber). Go Zags!

Great line by Tommy Lloyd: "Someone has to be sent away when we lose." I hope he got to share that line w the team and they all got a good laugh before he headed to Mexico City; just what this team needs imo, some levity to help let go of the WCC Championship game loss and start anew in the Dance w same attitude and energy they brought to Maui.
It is their time....their team...I just get to watch. - Bartruff1
