    Out rebounded by 5
they got 6 more shots up
    7 turnovers
    shooting 40%

Very poor ball movement on offense. Thank God SMC has missed a couple from point blank.

Maybe press them a bit? We can't let them to continue to control the templ

We average over 90 ppg, on pace for 48 ppg.

We average around 60 FG's per game, on pace for 40.

    Exactly as we predicted.

Our defense forced to guard entire shot clock and crappy execution final seconds

Trying to guard Ford in isolation isn't working.

Literally just sitting back and letting them control tempo/pace.

    No movement on offense

    Awful

Zags are playing their 16 vs. 1 game tonight. . .or is it closer to a 1 vs. 8/9 winner ??

If they do, I wonder if I will become physically ill. I'm having flashbacks to that UCLA game, a game we should have won.

Perkins looks off to me. I may be imagining it but his right shoulder doesn’t look right to me.

Any adjustments besides maybe some caffeine to wake the team up? Too many boneheaded turnovers as well.

Your going to have games like this in the tournament. How does GU respond?

Got trouble if we don’t hit simple shots and play harder defense. But it’s the shooting that sooo bad! Rebound and be ferocious! SMC is!

Yikes, I was hoping that wasn’t just me. He was rubbing it after a drive.

Except there GU played great most of the game. There hasn't been a one minute of good play so far/

How did we become an isolation team overnight?

Give the ball to player and watching.

Standing around, waiting, unable to contain the dribble, careless TO's by several, and Perkins looks lost. He was also grabbing his shoulder a couple times tonignt?

Fully expecting the Zags to play much better in the 2nd half. They've already done it several times this year pulling out wins on the road against USD, SMC, USF and LMU after close first halves.

By rushing on O and not swinging the ball. I give SMC credit for executing their game plan

    Noticed the same thing.

Was holding it down, almost stiff, and rubbing it as well.

Hope OK. Looked to be bothering him on offense and defense.

Seemed like it came shortly after a hard ball screen.

Agreed. They seem so....off. Offensive scheme is definitely atypical of our usual play, and I think it's the Zags rather than SMC throwing them off. Hopefully the halftime adjustments fix this.

I just hope that the refs were smart enough not to place the bets on St Mary's themselves. The only way that could have been more of a foul on Ford is if he reached his leg back to trip him.

Good point. He needs to just settle down and put his entire focus on not turning the ball over. Get the ball to GU's scorers.

We gotta all remember that GU had games during league play that were tight at the half. We just don't see it much, so it's shocking.

    Everyone has halves like this.

It says something to the quality of this team is really we haven't had hardly any. (Maybe the NC one?)

Lets see if this team can come out motivated.

Need to get a lead thru good D and transition. Very little of that so far, a Zag staple

Without the lead, Bennett can still deal

The forearm pushoff under the basket was another foul on Ford not called.
Hoping you have a sense of humor too!
