No Injuries! Perks, Snacks and Tillie shooting more 3’s. Thinking that 3 balls from these guys will be very important at the dance and necessary to take pressure off Rui and Clarke inside.

BYU fan support seemed down from previous years. Of course, they didn’t have a lot to cheer about.

Colbert Ross scored 12 pts vs GU.

Primarily due to Geno limited him at point of attack and Clarke cleaning up the rest.

Since he faced Gonzaga, Ross has averaged 24 ppg over past 5 games.

Only a Sophomore, such a saavy, smart, intriguing throw back type of guard. A big fan of his style/game.

He will be looking to redeem himself, but considering Clarke blocked 4 of his shot attempts, I'm pretty sure we are in his head.

Pepperdine also been super hot from 3pt lately.

Corey is starting til we play our final game.

A high dose of Crandall and Jones will be likely, as Corey was 1-6 FG, 2 rebs, in 30 mins vs Pepperdine in game 1.

I do agree. Make THEM respond to us.

I expect Geno to be first off the bench with Tillie second.

The JJ/Kispert debate has been beat into the ground, but Corey brings more to the table on a consistent basis, even though it may not show up in points or percentage.
    It's not funny.

That was a really sloppy game for us overall: 14 turnovers, 5 coming from Josh. I don't expect a repeat, and I'm sure the coaches have thoroughly reminded them of those miscues.

Pepp's on a roll, but the Zags won't play like they're the "hunted". We are the hunters, and we're playing for the number one overall seed. Zags will take care of business: Zags 95, Pepp 58.

Zags beat them by almost 30 last time around. First two games were against low scoring teams. USF game may have been them having a ton of confidence. Which brings us back to this game... Pepperdine is not an overly defensive team... on a rough estimate... they seem to give numbers in the high 60s to low 70s. My gut says they'll try to run with the Zags as playing tough D isn't particularly their MO. Zags D has been stout most of the season and if Pepp wants to run I'm not sure they are going to be able to keep up. Per Dave Rose... hope to God the Zags got a shootaround.

Was busy with other CBB tonite, so didn't know who the Zags would play until now. Does it matter? Does anyone with half a brain thinks the Waves have any realistic chance of winning this game?
LOL... Realistically... no. But gotta offer up both possibilities (even if the one is a major longshot).

I expect Zags to start out slow and game to be relatively close at end of first half. Talent and Waves’ fatigue will end in a route.

    Smile Soon Making Waves

Zags take care of biz Monday, but Pepperdine looks good. Really like their players. They’re so young but talented, and they’re figuring it out at the right time. Methinks the Waves have a shot at an at-large next year. If they keep all their young talent & stay healthy (and the addition of those two Oregon transfers, etc.), waves become SMC good and make The Dance in two years. Romar can recruit & Bone can coach.

(Then if only Romar will stay put, keep the talent coming, and retire at Malibu some years hence. WCC needs a competitive Pepperdine.)

    :]
    Yeah, we're "The Champs," uh-huh!

The Zags will come out rusty, because Pepperdine has the unfair advantage of having 17 warm up games in this very gym.
