I don't mind PJ, at least he's knowledgeable and isn't off his rocker like Big Bill

Have we had PJ call a GU game before?

Saying a given announcer isn't so bad because at least they aren't BillW.....is how we will one day say that a given president isn't so bad because at least they aren't......well, never mind.

    No Woodrow Wilson badmouthing allowed!

Surprised by these two announcers - don't know if we've had either all year? Usually it's the same few in a rotation. Hoping for a blowout which leads to lots of zag tourney speculation: how far can they go, are they deserving of #1 seed, etc.

I'm not a huge fan of PJ but he can be pretty insightful at times although most of the times I've heard him it was on the radio. I hope he doesn't choke.

Part of the problem with PJ is that he blew out his voice several years ago from all his years of patrolling the sidelines. He provides very good insight, but his delivery is quite raspy.

i think PJ has some good basketball observations but the chances of him knowing anything more about the players than what's on the run sheet is .0001%

Was it the yelling on the sidelines, or getting throttled by Latrell Sprewell?

I remember PJ in K2 within the last few years.

Crossed the floor at halftime to go up in the stands to shake hands with John Stockton.

You might be wrong on your percentage estimate. PJ lives in Seattle and is on very good terms with the GU coaching staff. It would not surprise me if he has picked up some information from GU's coaches in his pre-game preparation for the game.

No... he isn't. Nothing is as bad as "Conference of Champions" Bill. A) is his voice and B) is that he tends to know very little about the teams playing. He IS knowledgeable about the game. No doubt about that.

LOL... I'd rather take a really hard punch to the groin than listen to Lappas.

I'll see your Lappas and raise you a Dan Dakich. That guy is the worst for me - worse than all others listed and it's not even close.

Really? I didn't know that. I hope you're right, because that would make for a good broadcast. I think PJ is extremely knowledgeable about the game itself.

I'm basing it on other non-Zag games he has been on. If this is true, then perhaps it won't be so bad.
