Lolol Mal! now I really feel bad! The data looks good but “cynical” ? Cut me Mick!

He is currently shooting a greater percentage than arguably Gonzaga’s current best professional did in Sabonis. He’s a big part of a team that has a 5 point advantage in SRS(simple rating system, basically how much you outscore the opposition by) over a team that set the school record and wound up losing in the National Championship game. The guy also outplayed the future Duke pros. But yeah, he’s going to be terrible in the pros...

Also, Calvery is absolutely the biggest missed opportunity the Zags have ever had for NBA basketball. He’d probably be starting or being a 6th man if he had just finished his Gonzaga career in the past couple years. His game would’ve been more highly valued today than 20 years ago when it was a bogged down defense oriented league.

    GREAT line Doc.

And one thing's for sure ... I'm guessing both Rui AND Brandon would LOVE to have Casey's career .400 shooting percentage from three point range. And Casey took 200 3 point shots while at GU.

Casey absolutely would've gotten a look in today's NBA. His skillset just wasn't a great fit with what was going on at the time.

No doubt GZ. Casey was and would be an all star on any team we’ve had in this 20 plus years of this run. Sabonis too but Casey was a just an overpowering player. Great guy too.

Gary Bell on D. Never stopped. Still remember him completely shutting down the elder Haws for BYU, another guy who was always moving on offense.

Clarke is in there too, especially given his defensive timing. He's really the first big guy we've had since Casey that has both a crazy motor and freaky athleticism. They are both freaks, and tough as hell.

The answer to Jazz's riddle has to be Clarke. He fits in perfectly with that set. Hart/Pendo/QHall/et al have their own list, a different list (that also includes Kyle Dranginis). Jazz's list is four NBA players + Casey.

Brandon will make a roster. Casey would of as well if dropped into zag land today.

This coach can't see through the haze from the smoke from his crack.
