    Noo Thread: Foo Jeopardy

The Foo once took a stab at writing a novel. . .I have about 3500 words of it hiding on an external drive somewhere.

The Foo has great talent, wonderful imaginations, and serious wordsmithing skills.

And I suspect we can play "Jeopardy."

    Here's how it might work. . .

A poster poses a category and a dollar amount to answer a question by moderator Albert Einstein's question.

If you post the correct answer, you will post the next question.

    Such as:

"Give me 'Rolling Stones' for $500, Albert."

Thank you, Reno Zag. The answer is:

It was the first Stones album recorded entirely in the United States

And then. . . another player would write. . .

an answer to the previous post's question

      " What was "Aftermath."

"I'll take 'Reel Sports' for $300, Albert."

Thank you [ username ] The answer is:

"He played Yankee star felled by illness that took his name."

And so it goes. . .

And Albert is a fine moderator. Less snarky than that Trebeck guy. . .

Beats counting numbers as far as post-padding goes. . .might be a way to ease in to spring. . .

          Who was Lou Gehrig?

I’ll take, “Celebrity Restaurateurs” for $200, Albert.

This famous restaurateur famously proclaimed, “This is our f—ing city!” On April 20, 2013.
“No team in the country has a better winning percentage against power conference teams since 2017 than Gonzaga... the Zags are playing above average teams in the best leagues in the country and winning 78% of the time.”

I would have also accepted, Who are 3 people who have never beeen in my kitchen. (Look it up)

Who is the Joint Forces command General about to order the largest landing in military history, Eisenhower?

Your date gave me the biggest clue, I knew it had to be either Ike, Bradley or FDR. So, I looked it up. Is that cheating? It's the foo, I suspect it's okay.

Give me American Reptiles for $200, Albert:

"It is the largest and most aggressive venomous snake found in North America, and one of the main reasons that Dixie Zag does not walk around the yard at night in flip flops."

( Did not look it up and yes, of course you can look things up. . .it's the Foo. . .there are no rules in the Foo. If you ain't cheatin', you ain't trying. . .I think Orioles Manager Earl Weaver said that. Also could have been any number of Nixon cabinet members. . . )
