Is it Dr Snax and Mr Chux, or vice versa?

I voted for Kispert; he shot well in the first half. But yeah, it was a total team effort, I just love the unselfish attitude of this Zags team. I don't think they have met an assist yet that they didn't like.

Went with Perkins, another really solid game. He really orchestrated the team play well.

Another fan going ‘other’ for the TEAM .... and Lang.

Remember the HBO special series on the Zags? Sure wish that was being done again this year. Go Zags!

I'm going to go with "Other" ... and my vote IS for Matthew Lang. It wasn't publicized during Fall camp (shortly before he flew with the team to Minneapolis for the Michigan State scrimmage) when Matthew was told that he wouldn't redshirt and that he'd "earned" a spot on the traveling squad (unusual for a freshman walk-on ... most of whom redshirt).

Then, in Portland ... in front of his home town, his family and his friends to come through with the rebound ... put back ... and "and 1". That was huge.

So my vote goes for Lang. Attaboy kid ... nicely done.

Crandall leading (at the moment). Haven't I read on these pages that he was a bust?
    But we don't play nobody.

How can you possibly vote for the team !! ???
Logic demands that when the zags beat another team the victory can never be attributed to the team; it must be attributed to one player.

    excuse the sarcasm and irony

There's no team in "Unit." The whole point of the thread is to pick the outstanding player. I doubt I'm the only one who thinks it doesn't make sense to pick "team" for GUnit.

Agreed and I'm pretty sure when Woohoo first conceived this honor he specifically said it was for an individual not fot two, three, four, or a team.

I voted other for Petrusev 1 min., Jones 2 min., Ayayi 1 min. and Foster 1 min. for sitting so politely on the bench while GU played against the conference basement.

You sure never heard it from me. I had confidence in Geno from the beginning...and he's really started contributing to the team's success. Love his active "D" and now he's shooting the rock with more confidence. He fought through some adversity (late transfer, new system, plus the wrist injury) to get to this point.

Cory hit a few threes, so the sharks stopped circling...for now. Same will happen in time for Zach.
