    Default other games Wednesday 12/19/18

I'm not going to do as thorough of a job as the usual poster, but I don't see a thread started yet.

Unranked but 1 loss NC State knocked off Auburn tonight 78-71

    Tennessee beat Samford 83-70

Virginia over South Carolina on the road 69-52

A few other games involving ranked teams, not that interesting. Someone else can recap.

St. John's is quietly off to a 11-0 start. Things didn't go well for Mully early, but maybe he's got them on track now.

Arizona hosting Montana. First one to 50 wins. 36-21 UA 7 minutes into 2nd half.

Walton sees Heister's story about a rattlesnake and raises being chased by a grizzly bear in Banff National Park.

Not surprisingly Cincinnati is hammering UCLA 69-44 about 12 minute mark of 2nd half. Pac 12 continues to suck.

Cincy lead now ballooning to 30 over UCLA with 8:32 remaining (76-46). Bruins getting embarrassed on the glass.

It really is. And whichever team that ends up being probably wouldn't be good enough to get in as an at-large. And will almost undoubtedly being 1 and done. But at least that saves the embarrassment of going 0-3 in the Tourney, 0-1 doesn't look nearly as bad.

Its happened before but man it feels like the Pac 12 has lost its luster in football and basketball. UCLA and Arizona should always have good teams.

WSU playing SIU Edwardson. Looks like at most 150 attendance. That's counting players , coaches, security, and janitorial services. They must have the mikes turned up just to cover up gray noise.

imo lmu isn't as good as their record might indicate...i would put them at the top of the bottom tier in the wcc, likely 6th. there is something to be said for winning close games against similar-level competition however, indicates mental toughness, something i still question with regard to this edition of the zags.

    usf #46
    smc #47
    byu #69
    usd #80

the gaels have played a lot better recently after some early struggles...looks like they have a good chance to finish in second place once again...that would be pretty impressive considering their losses.
