As for playing two sports: I've talked to a couple high school kids who at one point considered football and baseball, about 4 years ago. The problem is the offseasons and expected training. Football is for the most part, a year round sport in NCAA, as is baseball. One kid, who's playing in the PAC12 for football, when he was a sophomore, was told he could play both but would have to pick one after Frosh year, and it would keep him back a year. He was intrigued by getting the shot to play both so he could experience both and make a decision then, but ultimately knew (even at that age) he was going to have to pick one. His HS coaches urged him not to attempt two major sports in college.
Suggs loves football, but knows it's over for him after high school.
