Or a 2 star on verbal commits. Odd offer coming so late in the process. Hope it doesn’t mean anything regarding Ravet or Suggs.

Doesn't surprise me. With Gilder and Woolrigde leaving next year our back court is looking real empty. Karim Mane is the guy I'm keeping my eye on but it will be a real dogfight for his talent.

That 4-star ranking is an outlier. 2-3 stars on other sites. Mostly recruited by the Georgia Southern, Austin P, and Jacksonville State sorts. Sure does strike me as a last minute move based on hedging risk or new information.

He could have been a college freshman this year but bet on himself by choosing to attend Sunrise Christian Academy and now he has secured another quality D1 scholarship offer. 6’4” athletic PG....ever since Texas Tech (or NWG?) it seems Zags are making big, athletic guards a priority. In Few I trust. Need PG depth and he has the tools to develop nicely.

Can’t recruit 13 starters. Quality bench players is important too.

I can confirm the offers out there. And was told Point blank this has nothing to do with Suggs. This is a depth offer and replacing someone who was in the plans already and no longer in them.

He is a quality player it will be a 4 to 5 year guy. He doesn't have much national publicity but he's definitely better than a two or three star player.

Mane would be good but I think that's just a pipe dream now as our good old friend jazz would say. He would be our Suggs insurance

Huh, why would we need Suggs insurance?

We don't need Suggs insurance and that's why the offer (Mane) is not out there.

There are lots of layers to this offer. Expect something within the next month on this one.

Suggs probably just wanted to give jazz plenty of time to think of something nice to say about Norvell to pay off a bet we had.

With all the run Norvell has had with the Lakers, it should be easy to think of something applauding his decision to bet on himself.

He must be exhausted running with Bronnie. Shooting it at 36% in the Gatorade Lg. Maybe next year.

Anything to do with Ayayi's sudden appearance on an NBA draft board or two?

Not directly, but it is probably a good insurance plan to have if Joel does make that leap. Suggs and Harris will be here next year, but Lawrence will help with depth that is for sure. I don't think people understand how thin we truly are this year. If someone is hurt or not at practice it really limits us.

Can you name or hint the "someone who was in the plans already and no longer in them."?

If they won't be a zag, who is it?

My assumption is he's referring to Ravet
