How many stars have you seen go to Minnesota in the last 30 years ? I don't think that is going to happen.

Exactly, he wants to play, and if he doesn't have the competition at qb then maybe he would go there to play both. And aren't they in his top 3ish teams that he always mentions.

Interesting little blurb from the hometown press:

A little birdie says Minnehaha Academy incoming senior five-star point guard Jalen Suggs will commit to Gonzaga for basketball, but isn’t ready to announce because that would eliminate an invitation to the Under Armour All-America football game in Orlando, Fla., in January.

The 6-foot-4 Suggs also is a standout QB but will play basketball in college, then try to head for the NBA draft after one year. Suggs has played well for the U.S. Under-19 basketball team in the current World Cup in Greece.

I wonder who the people are who are telling him that it's a good idea to play two sports, lol. The schools whose only shot is if he decides to play two sports.

I could not understand why anyone would want to go to the states of Iowa, Kansas, or Nebraska for any reason.

He said “our” when referring to GU’s recruits... He is a GU lock at this point, despite the lack of a commitment. Of course, Jazz will still make up some reason why he is “slipping away”.

Washington is beautiful that is their loss. I can not say that about those other 3 states I mentioned. All they contain is a whole lot of nothingtoness.

Pretty subjective. Personally I find the rolling hills and plains to be beautiful, particularly during storm season.

Biked thru there on my way across the state. Lots of wind, road debris, no Geiger counter.

I am retired and I like to hike the Historical and Heritage Trails in the West.....few actually followed the Lewis and Clark trail up the Missouri past Ft Benton.....most came west over South Pass....nearly all of the trails to the West originated in Missouri and crossed Kansas and Nebraska ….the Oregon Trail, the Mormon Trail the Santa Fe Trail and the cattle drive trails to the North from Texas ….. it is a land with a rich History with the Spanish explorers going back to the 1500's …..

Of course none of that would interest a teen age boy....or for that matter a college basketball fan …..

Gotta love the work Julian and Dominick are doing on our behalf.

If Julian was a tight end and Dom was a wide receiver on the side, this would be a done deal by now.

Has anyone ever told Julian that Gonzaga has one of the best intramural programs in the nation? Flag football is legit at GU.

Over 60% of student body participates (ranks 7th nationally), and flag football runs from September to around Bball Season tipoff.

I'm 100% serious, at least to satisy his football fix. It allowed me to continue my "glory years" of HS football.

I think you mean Jalen not Julian. And I don't think my main man Suggs
will be making his decision based on Intramural.
