Puke's ooc is a joke; Army, EMU, Stetson, Hartford, Yale, Princeton. Indiana and Kentucky, I'll give you but the rest are not even NIT fodder. Gimme a break

I’m surprised Michigan didn’t pick up a few first place votes. They’ve looked as good as anyone.

I would like to know which person in the AP poll voted Duke #1...I could see justification for that person voting KU #1 but Duke lost to GU!

If anyone finds out then please PM me...Thanks

    This guy. https://collegepolltracker.com/baske...ll/2018/week-5

Not only has Duke first but he’s the only voter not picking the Zags first or second.

The same guy that did it last week. He's from the Kansas City star.

Do we have a name? I would email him and ask for his justification...could it be that Duke got the 1st place vote based upon having the most #1 draft picks?

He justifies it by saying he looks at KenPom and others metrics. Speaking as someone who does stats for a living... stats aren't always the only facts.

Agree. Duke is certainly a great team that could win it all, but voting them #1 right now is a little iffy.
IMO, the only teams in contention for #1 right now are Zags, Kansas, Virginia, Michigan or Nevada. On the court results matter.

Especially with so little data! When things get to January then start looking more at the statistics like KenPom.

I hope so. Early-season wins at Loyola of Chicago and Villanova certainly helped. Thanks

I disagree. Add in Auburn and Gonzaga. That's three Top 10 teams.

If GU gets credit for Arizona and Duke, they should get credit for Auburn and GU.

Nice bump in Coaches poll, too. Would just like to see Kenpom Zags AdjD #31 go DOWN. Probably will with conference play
and I know it’s all relative to AdjO. Just remember it in single digits with Karno, Collins, Nigel, Melson, The Bonus and supporting cast. Loved being single digit in BOTH.

Hey, just dreaming, but tightening the D is still important. Like our pro-poster’s remind us, Defense Travels.

    One comment on the bottom...

This guy is all over the map with "extreme" rankings. Maybe he should turn over his voting to the guy who sweeps the floors at the KC Star.
