    Absolutely. I wonder if he flew directly from Greece to Georgia, with no stopover at home.

    @JulianStrawther
    (

    ) says good bye to AAU in a heartfelt post on Instagram

    Dear AAU,
    you have been all i’ve ever known my whole life, from the days when my jersey and shorts were way to big for my body, or just the days when i was just running up and down the court and didn’t realize what was going on, AAU has always been what i’ve looked forward to every year. I used to look at the 17u kids and think they were pros and it’s crazy to think that now i’m here and it’s all over, but i’m ready for the next chapter in my life. Thank you to Henderson Heat, Cali United, Vegas Prospects, and Vegas Elite for giving me the opportunity to do what i love. But all good things must come to an end and with that being said
    Thank You AAU, ✌

    Nice. I hope Strawther rests his legs a bit now. He has had a busy summer as have all the U19 Zags. Rest up boys and get ready to #ZagUp

    Watching film and Gonzaga bound 20’ F Julian Strawther has always been one of my favorite guys in the class. Spaces the floor with his shooting, makes cuts to the rim off ball, and his size at 6’7 plus is a bonus. Quality pick up for the Zags

    He certainly started as a 5 star in several rankings. As of about 10 months ago, apparently you could still find that ranking somewhere. See link below. The tweet came come a local NV guy, so not surprising he’s pump up the local product.

    I said it before, I’m incredibly pumped about Harris and Strawther. I understand Suggs taking his time given his situation, but it’s so awesome to see these two be so excited about being zags. I have a feeling they will be at the top of the list of my all time favorite zags when they are done.

    Julian Strawther, 6-7, 210, Guard, Henderson, Nev. (Liberty)

    Strawther, who is No. 63 in 247 Sports' ratings and No. 70 in ESPN's top 100, will join the Zags as a freshman in 2020-21. The four-star recruit is a skilled, athletic guard with shooting range.

    Strawther averaged 27.3 points and 8.8 rebounds as a junior at Liberty High School. He averaged 12 points and 5.2 rebounds for Vegas Elite on the Nike EYBL AAU circuit in 2018.

    This past summer at the FIBA Under-19 World Cup in Greece, Strawther was second in the tournament averaging 22 points per game at 45 percent shooting from the field for Puerto Rico. He made 57 percent of his shots inside-the-arc, which ranked eighth in the event. He added 6.1 rebounds and 1.4 per game. Strawther had four games scoring at least 20 points, with his tournament-high performance coming in the final game, a 40-point effort against Russia.

    "It's just awesome to finally make it official to get Julian here," Few said. "He and his family have been so supportive of him becoming a member of the program. He's going to be a great player up here. He's highly motivated, really skilled and can really score the ball. He will be a really nice versatile addition. He's already played against a lot of high-level talent. He should be ready to go from day one."

    I can not wait to see Strawther play. I think he is a matchup nightmare. And I think he could end up being the guy you give the ball to late in the game and say go win it.

    Suggs, Ayayi, and Kispert as the guards, Dom and Straw coming off the bench?
