I thought that they can't sign until their senior year, no?

I don't think those dates from Zagceo sound correct. Didn't all of our recent recruits sign NLI's last fall?

Ok Julian, you took your visit to UW last night and watched the Huskies get beat on their home court by the Ducks. Seriously man, is this a hard choice?

There was a huge traffic jam in Montlake. Hec-Ed was packed to the rafters and roaring. I imagine the disappointment in the air after the loss was overwhelming.

Excellent. They lost to their hated rival, meanwhile we blew out ours by 48points while he was in attendance.

Suggs hinted on IG today about a top 3. Just saying if Strawther narrows his list and Suggs does too, GU will be looking good on both.

if it was an exciting game and the crowd was into it, i don't think losing a game really impacts the decision of a recruit...maybe the thought process instead is, hey, immediate playing time.

They trailed the entire game, couldn't crap 50 points, and only had 10 points with 2 minutes left in the first half. I'm guessing, but I wouldn't think the crowd would be very electric in that situation.

Wonder if Strawther will make any of the games in Orleans?

The crowd was amazingly supportive. They cheered on the Huskies ever time they did anything right even when they were down. The Huskies were within 6 or 8 for a good chunk of the second half. Our crowd would have sat stunned in hushed hysteria if our guys played that badly.

Does not sounds like he will. We will be meeting with him, but with the price of tickets and it being nearly sold out that's a lot to ask of a recruit.

We were able to visit with Julian while we were in Vegas. We are making some progress here, looks like right now it is a two team race for Julian.

I would hope a player would think... That wouldn't happen if "MY" skills were on the court. They NEED ME.

I don’t think recruits are basing their decisions on one game. I hope he was there to see how everybody handled it. Probably shows a player more in a loss vs a blowout win.

If it's between only us and Marquette, I like our chances.

I agree. I feel pretty confident in what I was told about meeting with Julian, that we might have a slim lead right now. It's still early in the process, but we are in a great position.

My post was more tongue-in-cheek than anything

like you said, it's still early...many of the "big" name schools tend to get involved later on if they miss out on the 5 star guys...i doubt it comes down to just the zags and marquette...

i've come to the conclusion that a longer a recruit waits to decide, the less likely they are to pick the zags...you're either a zag or you're not.
