    Default Rui

Tommy "soothsayer" Lloyds smilie increases just a little wider after every game watching Rui blossom.

The confidence The Few and team have instilled in Rui is oozing as they set up more iso plays for him..and he usually delivers with that smooth effortless release. Rui has provided consistency in scoring.

Rui gets a lot of accolades in the media but our board is kinda getting used to his play. Just wanted to give Rui and Coaches some love for his development...wasn't easy road. Well done staff

Now go out and have a career game against the mighty devils of Dook

I have loved watching Rui get better and better every game. Great player and great young man. Tonight is a big night for him, if he can look really good against the players Duke has it will help his draft spot a ton. Good Luck tonight young man!

Rui also stopped our drought early in the second half with our first field goal

Hachimura ended the drought with a mid-range jumper that he hit consistently all night, and a takeaway at the defensive end led to a Norvell fastbreak dunk that sparked the Zags and turned the tide.
That sequence sparked the comeback imo

He has to put away his mild manner for a few hours, and turn up the beast mode, in your face approach, and use his skills and experience to dominate whoever is in his way. In Rui I cheer and admire. What a Gem.

I was thinking about posting a thread about Rui too. He has played so great. It's such a beautiful thing to see and watch. He has been developing a lot of new moves. That takes a lot of work, and I can see he's put in the time. I'm really pumped about seeing him play this afternoon against Duke. So far, Duke players are getting all the hype. That could change today. Go Rui! Go Zags!!!

He won't get a check tonight, but Rui could make himself some real cash with a great performance against the other top draft picks. If Rui outplays some Blue Devils, it will be rewarded handsomely.

Rui has the toughest basketball game experience. Whoever experienced the national game lost by almost 100pts with completely useless teammates vs US that included the young NBA stars? Rui has nothing to fear now.

Just outstanding tonight. Definitely showed himself well in front of scouts against other major prospects.

    He did that!
He can move 15 ft to the left or right about as fast as my eyes can see it, his name could just as well be Hunter Hustle -ZagsGoZags 11/17/21

I guess he HAS to go. But sure wish he’d stay. And I really do think he’s better than Zion. More creative and all around more athletic.

Rui Hachimura on RJ Barrett driving against him late:

"I think he switched on me and he was trying to play one on one against me and I was like 'OK, let’s do it.' We’re the best team in the country and I’m the best player too. I have to guard him. "

Few’s reply was, “Amen brother, now you’re getting it!”

Default This is the most confident team ever and has the "it" factor, just ask Rui

In the post game presser that ZN linked this happened:

When the reporter said to Rui, "you're eyes lit up when they played man to man on you what did you think"? "I was like, 'Yeah, let's do this'. We're the best team in the country and I'm the best player in the country" to which Few said, "Alright, Amen brother, now we're talking". Wow, this team has swagger in spades!!!

I think he meant he's the best Gonzaga player, he didn't say "In the country" referring to himself.
