    Default Props to the Crowd

Loud and on their feet even when the team was down. The crowd fed the team and helped them get back into it. Once the team fed the crowd, it was so much fun. The crowd got going like they do in Vegas, but even a little better. Way better than the Kennel. If the regular crowd at McCarthy brought this energy, it would truly be one of the most feared places to play in college sports. Period. Just sayin.

    Observations from the game:

    1. The best part about playing Arizona is their fan base teaches us how to show up at neutral courts. Extremely vocal.

    2. Any crowd can be vocal. It just takes one person to lead the chant, and keep starting them. There’s like 4 of them. Just keep rotating them. It’s easy. When your voice gets tired, take breaks when the Zags are on offense and clap instead of yell. Never stop bringing it on defense. A personal favorite: “AOOHHHHHH”

    3. Tournament games are on a neutral court. Great practice for the guys. Keep bringing it, Zag Nation.

And this was from mostly non-students... imagine if our home games had our non-students being as loud as they were in Maui.

    Courtesy of Freddie Mercury.

Do yourself a favor and go to YouTube. Watch Queen's Live Aid performance. Voted the best live performance of all time. 24 minutes of fabulous. You will see and understand where AOOOHHHHH came from and why Freddie is THE best frontman ever.
