Default Article in the Gonzaga Bulletin about Coach Few

Nice look at the coach in this article by Kendra Andrews:

After two decades at the helm, Mark Few has seen GU's rise to consistent title contender

Over the last 20 years, the name Mark Few has become synonymous with GU basketball. In his 20 years, he has coached 121 players — 13 All-Americans, eight Academic All-Americans, 79 all-conference selections, 12 WCC Players and seven league newcomers of the year and seven league defenders of the year. He has won 17 WCC titles and made 19 NCAA tournament appearances. He has won the Naismith Men’s College Coach of the Year, multiple WCC coach of the year honors and and brought the team to a No. 1 ranking twice.

But even with all that, Few barely turns his head to look back at what he’s accomplished. But, according to GU Athletic Director Roth, this is something that makes Few special and makes him the perfect fit for Gonzaga.

“It’s been a journey. It’s been amazing. But it doesn’t seem like it’s been 20 years,” Few said. “I probably never do a great job at looking back. Maybe someday I will. But right now, it’s all about the next thing.”
“When I get a little money I buy books; and if any is left I buy food and clothes.”

    Very well done, enjoyed this!

PS-Off topic, but article mentions Dichau's foray into coaching. Must have been brief, anyone recall the details?

Understandable...his squad looks a bit undersized.

    OUCH - you are harsh!

Back to OP though - Few is Awesome. I hope when he retires they name the floor/court after him.

At this point, I don't see how they couldn't...
