    100-75, GU

Similar to the past two games.
Loved Clarke's game last time, and would like to see that again.
Petrusev needs game time and this is another chance.

As an A&M fan, I'd be 'happy' if we lost by 15 or less. If I had to bet my own money, I'd say we lose by 20-25.

Starks is one of our most athletic players, but unfortunately he's off to a horrible start this year.

I’m thinking about Texas A&M’s speed, blocks and steals and Gonzaga’s shooting. I want to see if our pace will still be so effective. It’s a good bet that the Aggies won’t be intimidated.

Norvell goes off in this game and the only other hope is no injuries.

Get in these guy’s faces defensively; doesn’t hurt to give away some free throws if it results in some intimidation and turnovers. Offense is way ahead of D, where coordination and intensity sometimes lag.

I want to see Geno continue to develop in the Zags system and how he runs the pick and roll with Clarke and Rui. I want the same from Josh. Hopefully, Geno will break out of his 3 point funk. (If he can hit the three consistently will open up so much.) Defensively, I want to see more talking by the guys. To many of breakdowns look like they were not talking to each other. This a great tune-up before the Island trip.

I was one of the Aggies who was hoping to make the trip, but I gave up when it became clear that I couldn't get tickets. Has the school ever seriously considered expanding (or building a new arena)?

Congrats on the pickup of Timme. He would have looked good in Maroon. :-)

Tomorrow’s game against Texas A&M marks the first tenting game of the season for GU. That means it’s time for the running of the bulldogs. Here’s the moment GU students found where tent numbers will be distributed.

I would like to see a complete game from us on both ends of the floor. Would be nice to see 5 guys in double digits and 15 plus assist. Looking at a final score of 88 to 67 GU win. GU will beat A&M twice in two days

There are insiders here who can answer this in a lot more detail, but the gist is this (someone please correct me if anything's off).

The McCarthy Ctr opened in 2004. Seats 6k and is a beautiful, state of the art small arena; I was fortunate to see the San Diego State game last year due to a kind benefactor whose family has a couple of seats. Built for 25 million, which was what the school could raise at the time. Someone in the know said to add another 2k seats would have doubled the price to 50m, and those last 2k seats would be the cheapest tickets.

And it's never a bad idea business wise to keep demand high. Like what Nike does w/ its limited edition stuff, getting people to pay thousands for a pair of shoes.

There's also the fact that GU's basketball success may not last forever, and if in 20 or 30 years the Zags drop off like so many others have, they're not stuck with a huge half empty arena.

I'd like to see Josh and Clarke with another double-double.

Rui to make a 3pt shot

Geno to make two 3pt shots

Cory to make three 3pt shots

Zach to make four 3pt shots

Filip to get another night of 10 & 5

Jones to have thee steals and six boards

Foster to have two steals and two 3pt shots

As a team, I'd like to see the players prevent any A-line drives...and play GREAT team "D"

I’d like to see Petrusev get some extended minutes and rest staters. I’d like to see Crandall hit over 50% from deep. And I’d like to see an injury free game.

    GO ZAGS.

A&M, judging from 3 pt, 2 pt, & FT shooting pct, lacks shooters. Zags have them in spades: Rui 22, Zach 20, Brandon 15, Josh 12, Corey 10, Geno 8, Filip 8, bench 12. By my math (I'm an English major) that's almost a 100 isn't it? Scoring like that intimidates opponents, esp in a place like the Kennel. Liberal Zag subbing 5 minutes before the wire, allows Aggies to cut a 30 pt margin to 20: Final 97-77, well over the O/U 153 1/2. Bookmakers (who've been grossly underestimating Zag's scoring ability thus far) take note.
