Default 2019 Washington Prospect Pre-Season Rankings

2 of the top 5 players in Washington are Zags

    https://www.prephoops.com/2018/11/20...ason-rankings/

Anton Watson, Gonzaga Prep HS- The high energy hustle player has fundamental skills to match. At 6’8, Watson is a load to handle on the glass and possibly the most difficult matchup in the state when it comes to keeping him off the boards. He does not solely rely on his athleticism or length when rebounding, as he is very physical on his block-outs. Anton showed an impressive shooting touch at the state tourney and it carried over to the summer. He will be staying in Spokane to attend Gonzaga University.

Brock Ravet, Kittitas HS- One of the most decorated 2B players in Washington’s history. Brock is a lights out shooter that can penetrate and make plays as well. Washington’s reigning Gatorade State Player of the Year averaged 31 points, 9 assists, 8.8 rebounds and 3.3 steals per game last season. Brock is aiming to lead Kittitas to a third consecutive 2B state championship. Playing with Washington Supreme on the Under Armour Circuit helped prepare him well for the high level competition he will see playing at Gonzaga University in a year.

It's probably the most talent loaded year for the state since Brockman/Downs et al, when the #5 player in the state has a Michigan scholly.

    How’s a 3 star rated ahead of a 4?

It's the "new math" you've been hearing about, Jazz!
Hey, did you happen to catch Judge Judy the other night?

It probably depends on whose stars you are using.

Ravet is a 4 on ESPN and 247, 3 on Rivals. Bajema is a 4 on 247 and Rivals and a 3 on ESPN. I think this site uses they're own ranking though. I'm not sure if that was the top five in order, or just the top 5.

Rivals has Cole as a 4 star ranked 99th, Ravet a 3 star ranked 150th.

jazz -- are we going to have to go through this all of Brocks career -- the targets you put on our guys like Perkins, Karnowski, Stockton, Few for whatever reason get old.

What if we just say --"Great job!" for being named one of the top 5 players in the state and give him the opportunity to prove himself on the college court.

I like ESPN and 247 better, you like the one that furthers your agenda.

'17 was a good year too with the Porters, Davis, Nowell, and Kispert was the 5th rated recruit.
