Anyone watching Mich St. going to 2nd overtime against a D2 team? Looks more and more like these exhibition games aren't a gimme (even with the refs helping out).

re:
Apparently Grand Valley put a real scare into MSU last season as well. I wouldn't have wanted to face Tom Izzo in the locker room after tonight's game.
In other related news, Kevin Love had 15 and 12 in his UCLA debut as the Bruins blasted Azusa Pacific:

LOL Baldwin!
The only thing I enjoyed about the Mich. St. game was that it was a college b-ball game and it was a chance to try out my new DISH and High-Def. t.v. Both worked perfectly. Now I just need to wait until the 11th to actually see the Zags play!“When I get a little money I buy books; and if any is left I buy food and clothes.”

Not the kind of excitement that Izzo wanted this early in the season but it still is a game that does not count.
The good thing about it for Mich St. is that Izzo has their attention for awhile and they probably won;t overlook a team for at least a few more weeks.
It sounds as though some officials are all ready in mid season form protecting the big boyssigpic
I reject your reality and substitute my own.

That is a hell of a joke Baldwin for 12:00 am...You are not usually that funny, nor coherent at midnight on a Friday...Well Done!

I have to give a shoutout to the Nebraska Wesleyan PrarieWolves as well. We are a D3/NAIA division that finished near last in our conference last year. We were tied with Nebraska at halftime, 30 all. Eventually, we lost. Either way, the biggest upset ever in pre-season history almost occured out here in Lincoln, NE.
