Annual Numerica Fan Fest Set for Saturday
Event is free and open to the public

SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga women's basketball hosts the annual Numerica Fan Fest in the Kennel on Saturday, Oct. 13.

Numerica Fan Fest will be the public's first look at the 2018-19 women's basketball team that returns three starters and 11 letter winners from last season's squad that finished 27-6 overall with a conference-record 17-1 mark in the WCC. The Zags closed the 2017-18 season with their eighth WCC regular-season title, 14th WCC Championships title and 10th NCAA Tournament appearance.

The doors open for the event at 3 p.m.; fans can mingle with the team and coaches from 3-3:30 p.m. and pick up women's basketball tickets from 3-5 p.m. on the '63 Court in Martin Centre. The event will begin at 4 p.m. with the 2018-19 intro video followed by player introductions, manager introductions and coaching staff introductions. Head women's basketball coach Lisa Fortier will close introductions with an address to the crowd.

Following introductions, the event will feature a hot shot contest, three-point shooting contest and a four-quarter controlled scrimmage with each quarter lasting five minutes. The Blue-White scrimmage will conclude the action on the court, and the players will be available for autographs in the east lobby following play. Posters and schedule cards will be provided by Gonzaga marketing staff. No outside items will be allowed in during the autograph session.
