    Silas Melson to Lavrio!

Wow! That didn't take long. Lavrio in Greece has signed Silas to a two-year deal. Lavrio was Steven Gray's last team before transferring mid-season to Zadar in Croatia. Two other Zags play in the Greek League, Gary Bell for Aris and Kyle Wiltjer for Olympiacos.

Lavrion's announcement to acquire Saila Melson:

"OEM Lavrio MEGABOLT announces the acquisition of Silas Melson!

The American Guard was born on August 22, 1996 and with a height of 1.93 m covers mainly the position "2". He graduated from Gonzaga University and last year at the NCAA (Gonzaga Bulldogs) had an average of 9.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists with 41.8% and 34% points in the three-point shootout.

The recommendations that accompany him say that he is an extremely athletic player, who is distinguished for his executive skill, but without extinguishing the efforts he takes. Melson signed a two-year contract with our team, as the technical leadership saw it as a highly evolving player and suggested that the management invest in its value.

Lavrio MEGABOLT continues the effort to create a strong roster that will once again make the world proud of the team!

Silas contributed 18 points on 7/12 fg shooting in a losing effort in Lavrio's second FIBA Cup qualifier against BC Dnipro, with the final score 76-58. Box Score.

I think Silas' next game will be a Greek League game against Gary Bell's Aris team on October 6th.
