So I wonder what jersey he will have in his NBA pic in the GU locker room?

He's an excellent ball handler and plays good defense. Further though, he's learned to score in multiple ways. Serviceable.. For what they want from him, he should be ok. If his dad was Joe Smith.............

That's great. In a post above I erroneously stated how much his contract was worth. Actually David is considered to be a 1 yr veteran so his 10 day contracts are actually worth $74,159 each. You can only be signed to 2 in one year so I am assuming he will be signed to the league minimum prorated for the last bit of the season. Nice payday none the less. The league minimum for a 1 yr veteran is $1,312,611 so pro rated for 3 games that is by my reckoning an additional $48,000 if they have 3 games left.

I'm not sure how they are compensated for playoff games.

Did something happen? He doesn’t appear to be on the roster. I haven’t seen anything definitive either way.

I've seen that too. My guess would be that they suit up 13 and have 15 on the active roster, so he didn't suit.
Not even a smile? What's your problem!

How many players are on a NBA roster?
Each NBA team can have a maximum of 15 players, 13 of which can be active each game.

Oddly enough, the Utah Jazz have 17 players listed on their roster. Maybe if some of the players are inactive due to injury, they can exceed 15? In any case, I can see why David is on the roster, but not listed in the box score.

Check out the current Utah Jazz roster and learn more about your favorite players with access to bios, photos and stats on NBA.com

NBA rosters are 17 as of this season.
                      15 regular + 2 two-way contract players.
