Default Congratulations to Johnathan Williams, All-American Honorable Mention

The Honorable Mention list this year is absolutely stacked, a fine accomplishment for an amazing person.

Also congratulations to Jock Landale for being named to the 2nd team. I think in most years he would have earned 1st team honors. I may not like SMC, but I have a great appreciation for the way Jock developed his game and became a force in the NCAA.

One of the all-time great competitors this program has ever had the pleasure of watching.

He showed up to work every night. Motor always humming right along.

Congrats to him, more than deserved.

Final 4/National Runner-up and Sweet 16 in his 2 seasons playing. Amazing.

J3 will be difficult to replace. He worked his can off. He's the reason the team got as far as we did frankly. Warrior and good guy. GO J3!!

J3's motor was always running in the red, loved his passion for the game.

Should also congratulate Eastern's Bogdan Bliznyuk for being named Honorable Mention AA. Finishes as the Eag's all-time leading scorer.

Will so sorely miss the angry-fast dunk that always made me think "We really are a top power to contend with."

What a fantastic reward to cap a career as one of the best transfers, best teammate, the Zags ever had. Congrats, JWIII!!!

iam_j3It is a blessing to be recognized for all the hard work I have put in for the past 3 years. I knew I made the best decision when I decided to be a ZAG. All is possible through Christ. I'm a Zag for life. #blessed #gozags

Well yeah, I think that's understood.

    You ever watch Calvary play?

Ammo was tenacious and competitive but not even Top 5 in the 'motor' department. It works both ways on the court.

Anyway, back to J3...fantastic kid, gracious, humble, reflective, & was incredibly consistent with effort, hustle, heart. Only games he didn't fill it up were foul trouble issues.

6 consecutive double doubles is a Zag record!

This thread will stay in MBB for awhile, and then head to it's permanent home.

I can't think of a better way to honor this team (and one of it's Senior leaders) than to join the "Thank you Silas Melson" thread in the Hall of Fame.
