I think it would have been better for GU's seeding in the Big Dance to play St. Mary's... But, the atmosphere in the title game should be better fan-wise.

The way the Zags are playing - maybe a bit generous @ 70 for BYU but I think the Utah boys are spirited plus they - and us - have a hefty fan base in Vegas. Still, thinking we’ll run the Cougars a bit ragged and win by 20-ish. Got a feeling we’ll see some scoring by Josh & Silas tonight

I hope to see Melson stay in front of Hawes and Williams overwhelm them on the inside. Perkins has been playing incredibly well and selflessly, content to deliver the ball to our scorers and not force shots. BYU must focus on slowing down Tillie, JWIII and Rui = good game for Perks to rain 3’s!

Zags have been so locked in. Anyone else notice they aren’t celebrating like crazy after great plays...just focusing on next play? I love this team’s demeanor right now; they have big goals in mind and are dealing with every opponent as just an obstacle to overcome en route to their mission.

Tillie continues his hot streak. Rui continues to impress. Kispert finds the bottom of the net a few times tonight. Childs has a good, but not great, game. Haws and Bryant continue to annoy, but have no real impact on the outcome.

The Zags defense is just too tough for BYU. imo. I'm hoping to see a knockout tonight. Zags stand alone at the top of the mountain, crowned champions.

I hope to see JW3 continue playing like a man among boys. I love how he's playing. I love beautiful 3 point shooting; so I hope to see more of it tonight. I've always believed that this should be a great 3 point shooting team, and lately they've been showing what they can do. Look at our shooters: Perkns, Melson, Norvell, Kispert, and now Tillie. These guys can ALL shoot the 3 ball. I'm so happy they've all been doing it.
I hope to see the Zags come out of the locker room hungry and tough. Hoping to seem them in championship form.

I have heard both it would not be a Q-1 win and that it would be a Q-1 win, I think the fact that the definition of Q-1 remains elusive and dependent on who is beating who is all the reason to laugh at the committee for using it.

I would've liked to have played SMC in a rubber match.

I am shocked BYU won bc Randy has owned BYU forever. But, SMC looked so tired last night, like they were physically worn down. No excuse for that given their schedule.

I like/respect SMC except for the well-documented issue with sched. I hope they get in.

Guess we'll find out. Since the Zags have lost three times to BYU at the MAC in the last four years, methinks Zags are mightily motivated to quickly smack down any Cougar aspirations to ride the Zags' coattails into the Big Dance. After all, the Orleans is the Zags' second home ("Not in our place!"). Childs may be a stud, but we've three studdlier in J3, Killian "the Killler" Tillie, and Rui. Also, there's that likely 4 Seed looming, if Zags win, as further motivation.
