Few's first choice D wasn't this this season, evidently, based on the first game's philosophy vs. SMC.
Makes sense to me with Bennett seeming to love the passing and hitting 3s after forcing double teams or help D, often with the screen/roll game collapsing the D. Landale gives him even more options to do it. And as Lloyd noted about Landale kicking our butt in Spokane, along with the above noted punch/counter punch exchanges, something had to give for Few and co.
and this counter punch was clearly unexpected. Can anyone remember the last time the Zags doubled off the feeder with these rotations on one player? Bennett did not have his team prepared for it.
