GU is supposed to win this one by 40, and we're behind by 4 at the half???
Better be an amazing second half.

This is the kind of game where you really miss a player like Goss.

If he crowd is more than 0% to blame is a bad crowd. It's that simple. They are about 10% to blame here ... perks hasn't been good, neither has norvell, we've given up stupid turnovers and looked dead out there. The crowd has somewhat awoken there the last 3 minutes. You can tell the kids played harder

I doubt we’ll crack the century mark like most predicted but I expect second half to look better. Few’s “few” words should kick team into gear. Finals hangover needs to get shaken off.

I believe there are statistics showing that home teams have a greater chance of winning. One of those reasons is because of the crowd.

I think it has more to do with influencing the refs. You can't play that poorly and blame it on the crowd. They shot very poorly and turned the ball over a ton. I don't know how the crowd could have helped either of those things.

Home is worth about 7 points to the home team. So that means were down 11 pts.

Knock ND all you like, they are playing inspired. Smothering our offense and executing their offense.

How do you influence refs? The building doesn't have anything to do with that. The coach can also do it, but that wouldn't be a home court advantage since the coach is also at the road games. A whole crowd against you could do it.

And not saying it's only the crowd, or even mostly the crowd, but arguing that crowds do matter.

More than than just refs ... sleeping in own bed, familiar backdrop, comfort of setting... worth on average 4 points in a game.

I'm not knocking ND at all. Not one bit. I give a lot of credit to ND.

Refs are positively reinforced for calls favoring the home team and get swayed by crowd momentum and emotion. It's actually been proven statistically per the book Scorecasting.

62 not meant for you or anyone specific, just noticed little respect for ND expressed by a few.
