We're not a good team tonight.

Jays are a much much better team than us

Creighton gameplan = double JWIII even when he gets the ball 15+ feet away from the basket. They’ve seen he can’t pass well at all
“I don’t expect us to be perfect anytime soon,” guard Silas Melson said, “but one thing I do expect is trying to get better every day and playing tougher, harder and more physical than the opponent.”

Ugh. Let's hope for a second half turn around.

No Cory. Josh is MIA. Novell can't find the bottom of the net. The refs suck. Mot a good half.

Needed Norvell to do more. He can’t be 0-4 in the second half if we are going to win. A lot to ask of a rs freshman, but he needs to do more than dominate in garbage time. He can do it, but still waiting for the breakout.

Norvell is missing wide open looks. 5 open shots from 3, 5 misses. We will need him to hit a few of those in the 2nd half.

Watched Creighton in the Tgiving tournament they were playing in (where they ultimately fell to Baylor in the championship) and thought they looked scary. They are. Not sure who our team is tonight exactly.

I don't think GU can play two halves like that. Defensively, they need to find they're guys, clear misses on coverage. But without the hot Blue Jay shooting and threes, this game is in GU's hands. I see a better 2nd half for the Zags. Here's to winning the 2nd half by 8...or more!

    Look at the bright side!

One inadvertent whistle 3 taken away

    One missed goal tending

And if Norvelle hit ONE of his 5 3pt shots,

    We're ahead by 1!!!

The Jays are playing better defense, better hustle, making their shots. The Zags are confused and in a funk. Damn, they sure miss having a decent post player. Don't know what the problem is. Come on Zags.

    He sat with 2 fouls.

Why is it embarrassing? We are behind a good team who is playing better and shooting lights out.

Any guesses on why Perkins was sitting?

We looked like dog poo. Refs took away a shot that could've gotten josh going. Other than that no excuses we look so terrible without kispert

Creighton currently shooting 60%. We've held how many consecutive teams under 50% for the game? I believe history will play out here and Creighton will cool / GU will disrupt.

Can't be a fun locker room chat.

Corey's replacement Zach really struggled all over the floor. hopefully he can make a couple of shots, he's the open man after the rotations on the screen/roll d from Creighton and the Jays know where he is when the Zags defend

fortunately Silas went solar hot. Josh just needs to manage the game, he was doing ok but 2 fouls

but the 3 point d was very poor, gave up catch and shoot 3 after catch and shoot 3...going to get killed playing like that against any decent 3 point shooting team

Imagine if Melson wasn't playing out of his mind?
We look like trash. Should be Perk, Melson, Jones, Tillie, and Larsen. Not that I saw a lot out of Larsen, but J3 was super ineffective.

Any reason Rui shouldn't start in the 2nd half over Norvelle?

Got to change some things up
