Too much quickness and offensive intensity for a zone defense to handle.

First time for me seeing the boys play this year - this has to be the fastest team the Zags ever had.

Don't see how that was a charge.

8 turnovers but 4 were charges which can live with as shows aggressive essence

11 offensive boards 30 total. Wow

A lot to like about the Zags this year. Shooters, skilled bigs, length and athleticism around the floor. Defense looks really good tonight. Pretty much everybody that has been on the floor has played well. Norvell maybe is pressing a bit too hard. You can see the ability but he's just not getting shots to drop so far. Really happy w/ Larsen's effort tonight.

Man, what is with all of the offensive fouls? Four in one half I think. Some of them could've gone either way I thought.

Uh, yeah. They can boat race. This will be the highest possession team this program has ever had.

Also, J3 has put so much work into that cross-key sky hook. Thing of beauty.

    First time I've seen them.

Rui, wow. No limits once he learns the game well enough to be in control all the time.

    Kispert, choo-choo

Williams - Only thing stopping him is the stripe

Perkins - Just keep hunting that shot

    Larsen - better than expected

    Tillie - As expected

Norvelle - ?????? Confidence, seems to have some early Melson

How id a Big 10 team, never mind Indi - Friggin'- Ana, just beat these guys by 9? This isn't a true test an isn't telling us much.

We have more rebounds than they have points... Lets see if this can be a Zags team that keep the pressure on them, and not the zags team that coasts and lets the inferior team come back within 20.

Or maybe it's telling us we are pretty darn good?

When you have that much length, athleticism and quickness at every position, it has that effect. Also, Larsen is incredibly mobile for a kid his size.

Larsen passes from a seated position better than any Zag in a long while.

Will we see Wade? Surprised he didn’t get in yet; hope the shoulder injury isn’t an ongoing issue.
“I don’t expect us to be perfect anytime soon,” guard Silas Melson said, “but one thing I do expect is trying to get better every day and playing tougher, harder and more physical than the opponent.”
