    Default Old Kennel Photo

I'm looking for a photo of a men's basketball game played in the old kennel.

Ideally a panoramic shot during gameplay.

I'm hoping to find something from the late 90s, but I'm ok with anything.

Anyone know where I can purchase something like this from?

Google and Twitter are your friends.....

Here's a couple from way back. They don't even have "The Kennel' written on the court yet and the paint is the old blue from a time gone by. Sorry, I don't know the year.

Looks like no. 35 in the first picture could be Dale Haaland from the 1985-86 team

I always smile (and shake my head) when I hear about the “empty” Martin Center/Kennedy Pavilion prior to the current run. The attendance in the pics is how I remember it. Certainly MUCH more in the house than many of our WCC brethren attract today.

Would be great to juxtapose old Kennel pix with MAC pix and maybe even the old Boone Avenue gym to see how far we've come in over 50 years.

50 years ago they were in Kennedy Pavilion (Old Kennel) it opened in Fall of '65. Prior to that they practiced in Boone Ave gym but played in Spokane Coliseum and prior to that I believe they played in Spokane Armory.

Dale Haaland would be an intrical part of any of our recent teams. Most likely a starter. Dude was a stud.

I agree with the time frame.

The place was always packed to the rafters and louder than loud when I was a student. That was the 1990s/John Rillie-era.

He was certainly a physical force and was really fun to watch. I never missed a game in those days. I agree he would be a regular in any era

That is Jim McPhee and Lennie Parham at mid-court-so this is probably the 1986-1987 season.

If so, would that be Doug Spradley shooting free throws?
