    Default Cougs!

Huge win over USC. Pullman was rocking and probably ran out of beer.

    Nice win.

Now, after their 1st 5 @ home, time for some road trips.

There is real reason for optimism.

Bottom line, they were the better team. And, if one actually reviews the game, the Cougs could/should have won by 10.

They have enjoyed a home/heavy early schedule.

But, their defense is experienced and aggressive, that helps on the road.

I just hate the fact that the Huskies were just so clearly a level above them last year. And, as good as Faulk is, the Husky QB was better - as a frosh.

I can't believe how they got blasted at Cal....smoky air and all. Man, the air quality in the Bay Area that weekend stunk. They were monitoring it minute by minute at the Stanford game that same weekend.....and Cal was much closer to the fire.

9-2. Shaping up to be a good Apple Cup.
Who would have thought a Mike Leach coached team would be carried by its defense.

I don't know Bart. I think Tennessee fans have different expectations than Wazzu fans do, and his eccentric nature might not play as well there as on the Palouse. I think he's perfect for schools like Wazzu and Texas Tech, but more big time schools...not too sure about that.

The farther he goes away, the better.
