I think Harris will be a borderline 5 star prospect when the 2020 rankings start to take shape. Glad it sounds like we're making him a priority.

That is one ugly looking shot; not sure it will be easy to get it off over D1 defenders. Release point is in front of his forehead...
“I don’t expect us to be perfect anytime soon,” guard Silas Melson said, “but one thing I do expect is trying to get better every day and playing tougher, harder and more physical than the opponent.”

Ball is the worst shooter in the NBA. Historic bad. They’ll probably make him change his form this offseason.

I would agree that the Lakers will work on his shot this off-season...his father is to blame for not teaching the proper shooting mechanics, when he was a middle schooler...

It’s all about the release and his release is pretty. Shot goes in which is all that matters in the end. He’s only a sophomore so the strength will come most likely allowing him to have a higher release.

Since others are talking about Ball, he’s not making many this year but he shot well in college which is all I care about when it comes to our players.

Harris is elite and will be a stud in college, hopefully at GU!

Here is a 2020 prospect that you may want to keep an eye on. He is a sophomore.

    Player: Dominick L. Harris‬ (Class of 2020) 6'3" 170lbs

    Position: PG

High School: Pacifica Christian Orange County - Newport Beach, CA

Coaches Take: If there is such a thing as a Class of 2020 PG, being productive, efficient, unselfish, exciting, against the elite competition in California, Dominick Harris qualifies as trailblazer for the new generation of guards to hit the basketball scene. Dominick is a athletic and explosive guard with a lethal first step and crossover ability, exceptional handles that allows him to get into the lane effortlessly. He is a solid passer who always looks for the open man….He is a premier on the ball defender with extraordinary lateral quickness that frustrates his opponents, his huge wingspan allows him to play bigger than his size of 6’3". Dominick has an exceptional mid-rang game, and he is equally as deadly behind the arc, he finishes masterfully above the rim and is an exceptional scorer at 25ppg. He is extremely coachable with a great attitude and loves to practice and develop his game, prototypical gym rat.

I think Dominick is destined to stay close to his So Cal roots, yet we're the biggest school to be on him early.

No power-5 offers yet, but we saw something in him as a Frosh.

I agree, he plays the game right. A terrific PG prospect.

Hoping showing interest, as no other schools really have, pays dividends later.

Its just a matter of time before UCLA, Zona, USC, Hurley @ ASU, et al come knockin on his door...
"Rob plays with a high level of intensity when it's time, has a good time when it's not ... I love his enthusiasm and his zest for life. He picks us all up when he enters the gym."

    Glad Zags are showing interest!

Cool videos but for a youngster doing cutting edge training exercises (wow!) with what looks like high end equipment, he needs to notice how Lonzo Ball’s broke jumper is hurting his game, get a shooting coach and re-build his stroke this summer...btwn frosh and soph year of HS.

    Wade, Ravet, Harris......a disturbing trend.

Dec/2017: The Pacifica Christian/Orange County varsity basketball team lost Saturday's neutral tournament game against Bishop's (La Jolla, CA) by a score of 74-35. FWIW, I think Bishop's, the best HS in SD, plays 3 man basketball. Sarcasm alert. Still, we'd have to fight off Abilene Christian and Denver.
