probably one of the contributing factors to him not being ranked higher...hasn't been particularly consistent offensively over the course of the season...looks like should be a 5 star some nights, but then...

Thumbs up Why Harris is a future NBA shooting guard ( Article )

    LINK: https://scorebooklive.com/california...hooting-guard/

Unsurprisingly, Harris is a strong, committed defender. He spends a large chunk of games guarding the other team’s top perimeter threat, which is frequently another future NBA player, and he takes pride in doing a very good job. Harris is a little bit more explosive than he is laterally quick per se, which means he’ll probably be best served guarding wings than lead guards at the NBA level.

If he had the size of a lot of shooting guards out there, he’d clearly be a future stopper at the NBA level, and that’s where the 6-4 frame comes into play. But if his wingspan is in the 6-7 range, he will at least be able to hold his own defensively against many NBA wings while often torching them on the other end. And maybe he’ll be better than I think at containing the quickest of quick perimeter threats at the NBA level, in which case he could be a versatile asset guarding one through three.

This 2020-2021 backcourt will be amazing. I believe that Harris and Suggs will be one of the best guard pairings in the country as true freshmen.

On Dom’s IG live, he was asked what game he was most excited about playing this upcoming season. His answer?

Vs USC at the Moda Center in Portland.

Anybody know if he mentioned a rough date? I would hope it's sometime over winter break, so students could fill up the Moda Center. It would probably be 90% Zags in that building.

Is this a PK80-type thing? Another Nike mini-tourney in Portland? Portland doesn't make sense to me, otherwise.

I am so excited to see him in in a Zag uniform. He will have a role this year(it might not be as big as we expect), but his entire career is gonna be so special.

I think both Harris and Strawther have kind of gotten a little lost in the (understandable) Suggs excitement . . . And Cook . . . And and and. But something tells me Harris and Strawther are going to be key to our future success in the next few years.
