Thank you for sharing.
Wow. Just wow. Really great read.
So well written with great pics. Second the wow
..And for some reason, now that we’re here, I feel like I’m going to miss it. All of it. I’ll miss the jubilation the heartbreak. I’ll miss those woeful porch conversations about our demise, texts with my Dad about this “finally being the year,” and even the ridicule from my grade school peers.
Damn.
That might of been the best read I've ever had......and here I was thinking I was done weeping. That was near perfect!
Terrific job James Francis.
That is just really good writing. Don't stop.

Lump in throat ... that was UNBELIEVABLE. It is so hard to sum up what it is to be a GU fan but this guy nailed it!
This is a "must" read. Captures so well what it means to be a Zag and what we've all felt being part of the Zag family. The journey. And the "to be continued . . . "

Wonderful read, thanks for sharing.

We truly have been blessed to have the success we've had over the past 20 years. Such a terrific program to get behind. We all crave Zag basketball and I can't wait to see what 2017-2018 brings us.
LOVED it. But, for the record, we do still have one more rather meaningful goal to pursue. There is still one celebration in front of us that we have not yet experienced.
San Antonio would be a lovely city to have that party.
Excellent writing - he did an incredible job of capturing the emotion and passion that goes into being a Zag fan.
wow. that was a powerful read.
I'd say that Mr. James Francis may just have a future in writing. Wonderful piece!

Stunningly beautiful writing. Catches the spirit of this wonderful place.
Excellent story. Found myself seeing through Mr. James Francis' eyes and riding the emotional roller coaster.
Keep writing, you have a gift.
