    Default Tillie.............!!!!!!!!!!!!

The huge rebound and sinking the two ultra pressure packed foul shots to ice the game despite being a frosh and not seeing action towards the end of the game. This deserves its own thread.

Also congrats to Few for being open minded enough to change his coaching philosophy. He once didn't believe in fouling at the end before the 3 pt. attempt. Changed due to statistical evidence that it works.

Clutch. Not quite as big as Mathew's three in the West Virginia game, but now we're playing for the national championship. Love this team.

A professor (forget the school) did a huge study a few years ago which showed that the philosophy to foul overwhelmingly works. Zags over the last few years have been fouling in such situations, but it wasn't always that way. I should've said several years ago. I wanted to mention this because we still have coaches in the college game who refuse to foul. Part of being an excellent coach is being flexible.

And Perkins executed it to a T.......just as Few said. You want to foul with about 3 seconds and not when the guy is in the act of shooting.

Comes right off the bench, grabs a rebound, and buries 2 free throws to seal it for us. Just terrific for Tillie.
Our 2 freshman played with such poise. So proud of them

That's okay Hoopster. The basketball knowledge and expertise you bring this site more than makes up for a simple misread.

Tillie hasn't logged a ton of minutes in the tournament, but he's had some huge plays down the stretch in close games to help Gonzaga get the win. Big time player!

2.2 was way too much time (in my mind) for them pull a rebound and swing the ball up the court for a decent 3 pt shot.

Just hitting the front end was huge, ice in the veins.
