As most would know during NBA Summer league (where he was starting point guard for the Hawks entry, and playing well) it was announced that Kevin had signed on with Zalgiris in the Lithuanian LKL. A high level team for decades(Domas' dad played for them in the 80s) many on this board believe this is the next step for KP in his quest for the NBA.
Along with the Domestic competition (which they have won 6 years in arrow) Zalgiris also participates in the best basketball competition on the planet not named the NBA, The EuroLeague. This year restricted to 16 teams playing a 30 game regular season schedule....
Given the continuing interest in Kevin by Zag fans, I thought that there should be a separate thread for his time there.
Here are a couple of English language sites that will provide information on the team and its EuroLeague season
As Jstock12 is over the moon that KP will be playing in his home country I am sure we will also get expert (well, perhaps a bit biased) first-hand commentary on how he is playing.
The young guard group in particular should prove particularly interesting to follow....
