    It's not funny.

Can't believe the Thunder let him simply leave and got nothing in return....zero...zilch....nada....

Kinda like the way they left Seattle....maybe there is a god..

Well he hadn't made his intention to leave very clear. Convential wisdom had him staying there, considering they have (had) a contending team and the ability to pay him like $100 million more than anyone else

One last kick in the balls from the Warriors. Tough to take. Gotta thinking about flipping Westbrook at the deadline this year, maybe for Russell and Ingram from LA?

Think the Lakers would take their chances in free agency.

Yep. Doubt Westbrook is willing to sign anywhere long term until the off season when it is much more profitable.

He will likely pick somewhere where he has a chance to win....a team that gives up their young core to get him for half a season won't be very attractive. I think the only real trade targets this season are teams that would have a chance to steal the championship people are already handing to Golden State (San Antonio, Cleveland). Durant left them in a very bad situation. Doesn't seem like they have the leverage to get some one the way they got Orlando. You never know I suppose. There are some dumb GMs out there and Presti is one of the smartest.

If Russ doesn't extend there is no way he isn't traded. He won't have a choice where he goes. Whether or not he resigns wherever he is traded is a different story. And don't be surprised to see a guy from Long Beach who went to UCLA want to go to the Lakers, even if they are rebuilding. Definitely some perks to being "the man" in LA.
