I don't really like those PPG stats for Riverside. We
just lack that pure shooter this year. However, it forces us not to rely on just one, but to play as a whole team. Win or lose, just give it your all. Go Zags.

They have stats very similar to BYU and their top players mimic Lexi and Purcell very closely. If we play well, we can play with and beat anyone (within reason) in this tournament. The unfortunate item is we also have the ability to play poorly and could lose to anyone in this tournament. The good thing is that this team with the exception of the entire 2nd St. Mary's game and the last 7 minutes or so against Stanford, played everyone very close, so it should be a good game as long as the team shows up.

Yes indeed, that's where the sometimes you win, sometimes you lose comes in. We both know the ladies are capable of shutting down the big shooters. Hopefully they all come ready to play and give it their all tonight. Let's also hope no one has one of those just plain strange off/cold nights.

we HAVE pure shooters.....Jill is a pure shooter....Zhane is a pure shooter....Emma S is....we have inside capability from Shelby, from Jill, from Zykera.....

BUT even if we have shooters if the team doesn't get them open and ready to shoot, its all for nothing....

I just want us to pour it on tonite....pour it on.....fast breaks....good passes....make 75% of our free throws....grab the most rebounds....

this has been a hard year to watch the team because you sit there seeing the talent not being utilized, no flow to the game, and its been very maddening.....

losing 3 out of 4 games by one point is a debacle and I never want to see it again.....this team is better than every team we have played this year except maybe Stanford....

I want them to show it!!!!.

Local TV said about 1300 tickets sold. Who knew the men's game would be pushed back to around 7:45? That's probably about when the women's game will end!
