Pangos seems to have lost confidence in his runner. Could have shot that rather than passing the first one off to traffic. If he could get that back he'd be unguardable again.

What? Signature Few play at end of half where nothing happens.

Great half overall. Iowa doesn't play defense.

Momentum slowed in the last 5 min. Game cast is quit revealing. Defense wins this. Iowa will make muliple runs. Our job is to stop those and take advantage of misques. We need to get the offense going agin.
No letting up. We surely would look good with a 20 pt victory.

If I had one thing to say to the team during half, it would be "There is not one player on that team locker room that doesn't think they are win."

I am impressed with McClellans composure. He looks confident in this environment

Few has yet to employ the zone (hasn't needed it yet) but it may be good to throw at them the minute they make their first big run...

What impressed me the most was that we gained or held score with almost every lineup.

By my count we STARTED out 3 times in a zone, or what appeared to be and after 2 or 3 passes we sucked up man to man. Perhaps waiting until the guards got to their preferred guys and then latched on to them.

    1) "My" Zags are lookin' good.
    2) It appears that GU will soon be the most recent WCC team to make the Sweet 16. There goes that brag as if GU didn't already have enough.
    3) Is all of Seattle a Zag fan? What a great crowd.
    4) Lastly, you are doin' GREAT GU. Keep if UP !!!

Plenty of time left. It wasn't with malice, more of checking the box on the BINGO card. If the game was tied and that is how the 1st half ended, I am sure there would have been more said.

For a while there we went zone for the first 2 passes and the. Dropped into man. It was slick, but left some mismatches when we matched up.
