ZAGS HEAD TO VEGAS FOR THANKSGIVING
• Gonzaga is one of seven teams that will be competing in the annual South Point Thanksgiving Shootout at the South Point Casino.
• The Zags play a pair of games in consecutive days.
• Friday’s tip-off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Pacific Time. There will be no live video stream, but live stats will be available on GoZags.com. Live radio will be on 1050 AM.
THE LAST TIME OUT
• Propelled by a fantastic first half, Gonzaga eased to an 89-60 win its first road game of the season at Montana State.
• Last Friday, the Zags shot nearly 60 percent from the field in the opening half, while holding MSU to 24 percent.
• The Bulldogs jumped out to a 17-0 lead, led 51-18 at halftime, and never trailed in the game.
• Shelby Cheslek matched her career-high with 16 points.
• Sunny Greinacher added 12 points and 11 rebounds for the double-double performance.
• Lindsay Sherbert and Keani Albanez chipped in 15 and 14 points. Georgia Stirton dished out eight assists.
