All this bickering on the MBB about which school is "the true" USC. . .

I say the 'cocks and Trojans deserve one another.

I will be off the board Sunday and Monday due to an out-of-town commitment. Savor the feelings, enjoy the company, give the Zags your hopes and dreams. And win the whole damn thing.

Thank you, Jazzgirl. I will be watching at Meehan's Public House, 200 Peachtree Street, downtown Atlanta. Hoping the Georgia natives would rather root for the Zags than the Tar Heels (or Ducks )

Hope you had a good Easter, Reno. I spent most of mine driving between Seattle and Portland and Salem. Woof.

Thanks, Beasto, same to you. My daughter and I hit a casino brunch and then we came home and watched a movie called "Cutbank" a film noir with Billy Bob Thornton, Bruce Dern, John Malkovich, and Michael Stuhlbarg.
Reminded me of some of the early Coen Brothers' stuff ( Blood Simple, Fargo). It was a good day.

Did the movie have anything to do with a small town in Montana?

    I like Montana.

    Western Montana, anyway.

Isn't Eastern Montana basically a Dakota?

I just spent an hour by the pool with Springsteen's biography, a cocktail, and a view of a mango-colored bikini worn by a shapely adorable that was to die for.

Other than that, nothing much. I'm staying next door to the Coca Cola "Eye" and the Ripley's Believe it Or Not. . .I think I'll pass on those. The time change is kind of kickin' my butt today. Meeting my boss and our VP of Marketing for dinner in a few hours. Might squeeze in a nap between now and then. . .

Toronto, Boston, SF - - My 3 favorite cities in the world, not that I've ever been off this continent.

Start at the Eaton Centre and move up Yonge Street, kind of like the Canadian version of Times Square. The CN Tower is worth doing, too.

Tiger Woods' DUI mugshot is as sad as an empty candy bowl two hours into Halloween night.

Over the weekend, while I was camping, some kids from the neighborhood decided to ride their bicycles through my front lawn while the sprinklers were running, to cool off, I suppose.
One of them ran into one of the pop ups, breaking it off.

After work today, it was a 10 minutes of digging, a 20 minute round trip to Home Depot, 10 minutes of connecting the new head and back-filling the hole.

If ever a cranky old man was entitled to say "You kids get off of my lawn!" it's me.

I hope his parents lose their health insurance.
