    Default Nice job, David!

In the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, David led both teams in assists (9) and assist to turnover ratio (4.5)! Those 9 assists were in 22 minutes of playing time. He also had 1 steal and 2 blocks!

    Nice going, David!

Could have easily had 15 assists....lots of missed shots. Stocks can run a team.

As mentioned in a previous thread, this is a target rich environment for a player like DS; have a bunch of ball hogs and shooters, then a passer will be in his element! Hope this will help him overseas.

Sarcasm on the interwebs is like winking on the phone. Not very productive.

Haven't seen any yet, but if you go to slam online, you can watch the replay.David starts playing about six minutes in, I think, and it's pretty much a highlight reel the whole time he is in there, lol.

    Draft Express take on David:
David Stockton, 5-11, Point Guard, Gonzaga – 4 points, 9 assists, 2 turnovers, 2 blocks - No one was more fun to watch on Thursday than Stockon, who ran his team beautifully and made some terrific passes. He played surprisingly excellent defense, sticking to his man like glue and coming up with some impressive blocks thanks to his long 6-3 wingspan. He's likely not a NBA prospect due to his lack of size, average frame and poor outside shooting ability, but he is almost certain to have a nice career in Europe.

Or a comment of genetics and talent. DS is great player and will earn a pay check if he wants (over seas most likely)

David's brother Michael played in Summer League for Utah last year. I wouldn't be surprised to see David get an invite for this year.

He's the kind of player who would be handy to have on a Summer league team, running the offense and distributing for his teammates. I concur that I don't think he has the size or shooting ability to play in the NBA, but with his handles and passing, he should be able to make good money overseas, if that's what he wants.

David has as much potential as Phil Pressey of the Celtics. Pressey skipped his senior season, entered the NBA draft but wasn't drafted, he showed enough skills in summercamp and made the team.
So there is a chance if he continues to shine in these camps.

David with 6 points, 3 assists, 2 steals. He set some people up nicely who didn't finish a few times which hurt his assist total a bit, but overall I thought this opposing team did a good job closing down passing lanes. Still, a solid game from David, IMO.

By the way, I was also impressed with Tyler Johnson and Markel Starks.
